Exposed Shower Column

2025-08-11

The Exposed Shower Column is a wall-mounted system that integrates a thermostatic faucet, exposed riser, overhead shower, and hand shower into a single vertical panel. All water lines and structural components are visible on the exterior of the wall, faucet housings are gravity-cast brass, and the system boasts a pressure resistance of 1.0 MPa and an operating temperature of 5–80°C. The mirror chrome/brushed/PVD finish withstands a neutral salt spray test for ≥96 hours without blistering or discoloration. Exposed components have a pencil hardness of ≥1.5H and retain their gloss after 5,000 dry rubs. Seals are made of EPDM/FKM composite, resistant to chlorine and thermal shock. The hose has a tensile load capacity of >50 N. The system is secured to the wall at four points, and the M8 expansion bolts have a tensile safety factor of >5x, meeting high-frequency commercial use requirements.

Exposed Shower Column Features

Constant Temperature Safety

The Exposed Shower Column features a built-in 38°C safety-lock thermostatic valve cartridge with a ±1°C temperature tolerance. When the temperature difference between hot and cold water is ≥10°C, it maintains a stable output within a dynamic pressure range of 0.1–0.5 MPa. The valve cartridge has a lifespan of ≥200,000 cycles and features triple protection: overheat bypass, anti-backflow, and temperature limiting. Even with transient pressure fluctuations at the hot and cold ends, the water flow curve remains smooth, minimizing hot and cold fluctuations and energy waste. This provides more user-friendly anti-scalding risk management for both homes and businesses.

Comfortable water flow

Overhead showerhead with a Ø240 mm rainscreen panel, ≥110 outlet holes, and a flow rate of 9–10 L/min @ 0.3 MPa; three handheld modes (limited to 6.6 L/min); and an optional air-pressurized mixing chamber for enhanced comfort in low-pressure areas. A flow equalizer and medical-grade silicone anti-scaling nozzle remove scale with finger pressure, maintaining beam shape and coverage. The water diversion knob offers clear damping and switching in ≤1 second, perfect for both daily cleaning and relaxation.

Quick Exposed Installation

Exposed installation requires no grooving or rework, making it suitable for renovations. An S-shaped eccentric connector is included to mitigate pipe positioning errors. A positioning template and leveling stickers assist one-person installation, allowing for completion in 30–40 minutes. All connections are compatible with G1/2 ports, with forward-facing access. The quick-connect, snap-on hose design allows for replacement of common consumables in ≤10 minutes. Compared to wall-mounted solutions, this significantly reduces construction and downtime.

Water-saving and Compliant

Exposed Shower Columns feature a built-in 1.75 gpm flow limiter, with European versions of 8–10 L/min; zero energy consumption in static standby mode. Materials and electroplating comply with RoHS/REACH regulations, with a material report included upon delivery. Optional SUS316 riser pipes are available for use in high salt spray areas. Based on standard home/guest room models, annual hot water consumption can be reduced by 8–12% while maintaining a stable perceived temperature range.

Exposed Shower Column Application

Novotel Business Travel Bathroom

The hotel chain emphasizes durability, ease of maintenance, and a consistent experience. Exposed installation allows for seamless replacement of old components during renovations, reducing room closure time. A 38°C safety lock adapts to international clientele. A 1.75 gpm water-saving version helps hotels pass annual water and energy audits. PVD matte black or brushed nickel finishes complement modern business travel styles, and the front-access design facilitates quick re-installation of guest room maintenance.

Virgin Active Fitness Club Shower Area

High-volume, post-workout water consumption demands high throughput and low maintenance. The overhead shower offers 9–10 L/min coverage and rapid washout of salt and sweat, while the handheld shower offers 1.75 gpm. GPM controls water consumption per person; silicone anti-scaling nozzles are effective for hard water, allowing cleaners to restore water flow with a simple wipe. High pull-out strength reduces strain damage; valve core lifespan ≥ 200,000 cycles reduces downtime and spare parts costs.

Brookfield High-End Rental Apartments

The developer prioritizes assembly efficiency and tolerance. Adjustable center distances of 130–170 mm and a universal G1/2 interface accommodate existing hot and cold water level variations. Templates and quick-release hooks reduce work time and ensure consistent batch delivery. Mirror chrome, brushed, and PVD color matrices are available to suit different apartment layouts. Delivery includes an exploded view, maintenance manual, and warranty card, reducing the burden on property management after-sales service.

B&Q Retail Terminals

Retail channels prioritize quick installation and conversion. DIY-level instructions and installation templates are included in the color box, allowing even casual users to complete replacements. Display units offer transparent waterway cross-sections to assist with purchase guidance. North American/EU dual flow-limiting SKUs and multi-language labeling facilitate cross-regional distribution. Standard G1/2 interfaces reduce returns and improve terminal turnover efficiency.

Norwegian Cruise Line Cabin Bathroom

At sea, high salt spray, low pressure, and fresh water shortages exist. Optional SUS316 risers and FKM seals enhance corrosion resistance. The air booster provides a pleasant handheld feel even at low pressures of 0.2–0.25 MPa. A 1.75 gpm flow limiter and a check valve prevent backflow, limiting fresh water consumption and cross-contamination risks, meeting the maintenance and hygiene requirements of long-term vessel operations.
